Last week, the five finalists of the 2019 EU Mies Award were announced! The projects are from Albania, Belgium, Germany, France, and Spain. The works will be visited by the jury in April, and they will announce the Prize Winner and the Emerging Architect Winner at the end of April. The Award Ceremony will take place on the 7th of May 2019 at the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion in Barcelona. Along with the Award Ceremony, there will be a host of events including: lectures, debates, exhibition opening and celebration with the Jury members, Winners, Finalists, Clients and other guests and representatives.
After the Award Ceremony, the four Finalist works, the Winner and the Emerging Architect buildings will be open to the public from the 9th to the 19th of May, offering an in situ experience with the architects and those involved in the organisation of the Prize.
