Labóh and L35 opened the doors to six Barcelona architecture firms with Architecture Studio Sessions

Within the framework of Barcelona World Capital of Architecture 2026, Architecture Studio Sessions has completed six dates of its itinerary, reaching full capacity in all of them. Conceived by World-Architects and developed through the strategic leadership, organization, and communication of Labóh alongside L35, this initiative was born to bring the profession closer to citizens by opening the doors of ten prominent studios across the city. A project where cultural coordination, organization and public relations transform workspaces into gathering spots for direct dialogue.

The series kicked off its journey in February at the Barcelona headquarters of the international firm BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group), opening to the public the renovation of two floors in a historic building in the Eixample district to highlight the intersection between global ambition, craftsmanship and technology. In March, the experience moved to the shared space of Mariona Benedito and Bayona Valero in Sarrià–Sant Gervasi, a multidisciplinary environment where reflections on the city extended into conversations on their terrace. In April, b720 (Fermín Vázquez Arquitectos) hosted a session organized around a long central table, where a review of their trajectory led to a guided tour and a relaxed atmosphere. All sessions were accompanied by live music or DJ sets, at times even performed by members of the studios themselves.

Spring and early summer confirmed the success of the format, once again reaching full capacity for every session. In May, L35 Architects opened the doors to its penthouse office on Avinguda Diagonal, offering views across the city while sharing the philosophy behind their projects. June took the itinerary to Esplugues de Llobregat to visit the Batlleiroig campus, an enclave of permeable workspaces, landscaped courtyards and terraces connected to the environment that perfectly embodies the studio's core values: the total integration between architecture, landscape and sustainability. July marked the final session before the summer break at External Reference's studio, where Carmelo Zappulla guided visitors through a modernist space in which original architectural features meet with a digital fabrication and 3D printing laboratory.
